Dr. Emad Habib's PhD student, Gregory Williams, recently presented his work on flood resilience in the Caribbean region at the IRF Global Conference in Georgetown, Guyana.

On July 21–24, 2026, the International Road Federation (IRF Global) brought together transportation leaders, engineers, policymakers, development partners, researchers, and industry innovators in Georgetown, Guyana, to explore practical solutions for building safer, smarter, and more resilient transport infrastructure across the Caribbean.
